What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin. As it is written:There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one…Their throat is an open tomb; with their tongues they have practiced deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips; whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness…Their feet are swift to shed blood; destruction and misery are in their ways; and the way of peace they have not known…There is no fear of God before their eyesNow we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.’ Paul, A bond servant of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:9-20)

On the Lord’s Day, June 9, 2024, Pastor Haskell Alan Ross, finished the longest sermon he had every preached since becoming undershepherd to this tiny body of believers, April 28, 2013. He prayed and began to slowly stagger to the steps of the pulpit as several of the brethren began to scurry to support and assist him to exit the sanctuary. In the moments that ensued it was apparent that our dear Pastor was having physical difficulties beyond our scope and emergency services were called upon. As Pastor Alan was placed into an ambulance he went unconscious only to meet his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, approximately seven and a half hours later at the Redlands Community Hospital. Pastor Alan preached and taught, “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21) This tiny fellowship continues on by the will of God, for His good pleasure and glory. soli Deo gloria!
